Noel Gallagher si e’ visto costretto a lanciare un ultimatum verso il fratello Liam, dicendo che se la voce di Our Kid non dovesse migliorare, non ci sara’ nessun altro album degli Oasis.
Noel e’ rimasto veramente amareggiato dalla performance di Liam ai Brit Awards di Venerdi’ ed ha affermato che la Cigarettes & Alcohol suonata per l’occasione non era buona per essere suonata in un occasione come la premiazione per gli Outstanding Contribution To Music. ’’Liam deve riscoprire la sua vecchia voce, quella che l’aveva reso il miglior frontman di questa generazione e senza il quale gli Oasis non sarebbero nulla. Qualcuno ha detto che Noel ha lanciato parole davvero pesanti dopo lo spettacolo al fratello. Pare che Noel avrebbe detto che Liam ha cantato con una voce troppo nasale, molto lontana dal suo meglio. Liam avrebbe voluto suonare Songbird, ma The Chief non ha proprio voluto. Gli Oasis hanno fatto un’esibizione pazzesca all’Earls Court, ma la voce di Liam non era in tema con tutto il resto.
Tu vuoi qualcosa per niente, ma più in alto ti arrampicherai, per più tempo precipiterai Forse sta arrivando il tuo momento, Chiederai di scalare quando troverai il muro? E’ il momento di dubitare?
