Il cameriere torna con la bottiglia e cinque euro di resto, poichè è il compleanno del padrone e in suo onore si fa uno sconto ai clienti. Però cinque non è divisibile per tre, perciò tre amici si riprendono un euro ciascuno - e così è come se avessero speso nove euro - e danno gli altri due di mancia al ragazzo.
