E’ accaduto negli Stati Uniti, in Alabama. L’esemplare, per enormità, potrebbe battere il record di "Hogzilla", il cinghialone abbattuto in Georgia nel 2004. WASHINGTON (26 maggio) - Un bambino di undici anni ha ucciso con una pistola il più mostruoso cinghiale mai avvistato in America, un autentico King Kong della sua specie. Il piccolo Jamison Stone ha usato la sua Smith & Wesson per uccidere con una scarica di proiettili un cinghiale di oltre 500 chilogrammi, lungo oltre tre metri e delle dimensioni di una mucca, apparso improvvisamente mentre il ragazzo stava attraversando una riserva di caccia in Alabama insieme al padre. «Sembrava di essere in un film di Godzilla», ha dichiarato il ragazzo. Dopo avere colpito il cinghiale-mostro con otto proiettili, la caccia è proseguita per altre tre ore finché il ragazzo, che frequenta la prima media, è riuscito a finire con un altro colpo a bruciapelo la sua preda. «Sembrava di essere in un film dell’orrore - ha detto il ragazzo - Seguire il cinghiale è stato facile, bastava seguire il suono degli alberi scossi dal passaggio dell’animale».
