HERO di Zhang Yimou
Finalmente, ad ottobre, esce anche in Italia questo capolavoro assoluto, inspiegabilmente ignorato dalla Miramax per 2 anni... c'è voluto l'intervento di Quentin Tarantino per fare rinsavire quei signori...
spero che in Italia esca la versione completa, perchè tagliare un film così è un delitto

In a surprising interview with Fangoria magazine, Tarantino revealed, that he battled with Miramax (who holds the rights to Zhang Yimou's HERO) to finally release the film (which is almost 2 years old now, and hasn't gotten ANY attention from Miramax, who already had edited the film down to 95 minutes - a version that was also shown all over Europe), and to top it, he convinced Miramax to release it in its original version, which is over 120 minutes long.
This is what Tarantino said (the entire interview will be in the April 16 Issue of Fangoria Magazine)
"And I am very proud to do that," Tarantino tells Fangoria Magazine. "I had to fight for it with Miramax. I think they lost faith in it and everything. And I thought that HERO was an absolute masterpiece, so I fought with them not to cut it. Not to bring it down, but to keep it the same length as when I saw it. And finally they agreed if I would present it. So I got in touch with Zhang Yimou and he was cool with that. Yeah, he was as happy as a clam. So that's what I am doing—it's pretty much what I did for IRON MONKEY."

Sirmione + Gardaland
Bella giornata ieri a Sirmione.
Partenza dopo tappa a casa Cia verso le 10, con calma arriviamo a Sirmione verso mezzogiorno e giriamo mezz'ora per trovare un parcheggio libero.
Visita al castello e poi pausa cibo, l'occhio clinico di Valeria nota subito le sopracciglia da Greta Garbo e il piede inclinato del cameriere...
ci dirigiamo quindi in "spiaggia" e qui continuano gli incontri ravvicinati del 3° tipo... prima una che non si fa problemi a mettersi il costume davanti a tutti ( e la Cia: " voglio vedere come fa adesso col pezzo sopra..." )
e poi "a Bibliotecara"
Revival delle mie giornate di parole crociate ed insulti al FIAT con Tonin sostituito degnamente da Valeria
Cena degna di nota... tagliolini con faraona e porcini e una grigliata mista che non finiva più
Arrivo in ritardissimo a Gardaland, solo un paio d'ore ma divertenti (Po... dov'era la telecamera? )
Tappa in birreria col capo che ci manda sotto il diluvio universale a calci in culo perchè alle 2 si chiude... ma chissa che qualcuno te sara calcosaltro...
bon... oggi ho dormito tutto il giorno... meglio che vada a fare un giro in Prato
