lights and colours fading from my sight

the night before the exam...
we all like to be told everything’s alright even if it’s wrong
will ever something come your way and tell you the truth
maybe a good friend or the good song this is not
there’s so much in my head
that all i want is to be dead...

Ricetta per plagiare l’implagiabile.

1- diventare una band di successo ed essere conosciuti alle masse come Muse
2- ascoltare il vecchio singolo di Britney Spears "Do Something", del 2003
3- dare una piccola acceleratina alla base musicale
4- sostituire l’orribile testo con uno più accattivante, per quanto altrettanto vuoto
5- intitolare il risultato "Supermassive Black Hole"
6- lanciare il nuovo singolo e fargli scalare le classifiche
7- $$$

Considero mia nonna il mio più grande fallimento comunicativo. E non è poco. Non credo di essere mai riuscito a comunicare (che non è parlare) con lei..
Non ascolta. Sente, ma non ascolta. Dritta nel suo discorso fino alla fine. E non si lascia mettere i bastoni tra le ruote. E mica in modo sgarbato. Semplicemente continua con la sua tesi... Potrebbe buttarsi in politica.

Guarda la gente che hai intorno. Entra nella loro mente. Cerca i loro problemi. Spesso nulla di irrisolvibile. Ma che comunque non viene risolto. Siamo come tante scatole chiuse, che nessuno si prende la briga di aprire. Per consuetudine, più che altro. La timidezza non regge come scusa. E tanti, troppi non aspettano altro che qualcuno apra la loro scatola.
