Lo specchio, ossessione dei filosofi, porta magica
per mondi al di là – o al di qua – del reale, liquido
riflettersi dell’immagine, verità o menzogna… Ma lo
specchio è anche una scommessa per l’obbiettivo
della macchina fotografica, l’immagine rubata dallo
scatto ritrae l’immagine riflessa, infinito ripetersi di
simulacri che si rimandano l’uno con l’altro nell’abissale
distanza che li separa… in questo labirinto di visioni,
dov’è il ‘vero’, la ‘carne’? Esiste altro al di là del
simulacro? Mirrorproject.com è un sito che raccoglie
solo fotografie che ritraggono… ombre, immagini
“rimandate” da qualsiasi superficie riflettente: vetri,
specchi, sfere d’acciaio, vetrine, occhi, schermi…
Centinaia di fotografie divise in gallery o per tematiche,
una comunità di uomini e donne che rubano fantasmi
là dove compaiono per sparire subito dopo.
