ROMA, 16 maggio 2006 - Radio Londra:
"Non posso negare che Shevchenko mi interessi,
ma il Milan è un club potente e non ha bisogno
di vendere i suoi giocatori: le trattative sono molto complicate".
La voce è quella di Josè Mourinho, che per averlo
al Chelsea farebbe follie. Ma il tira e molla tra il club
di Abramovich e l’ucraino è in stand-by.
E da Roma, dove si è recato per rispondere
alle domande come persona informata dei fatti
nell’ambito dell’inchiesta che stanno portando
avanti i pm napoletani Giuseppe Narducci e Filippo Beatrice,
Adriano Galliani, amministratore delegato del Milan,
taglia corto: "Shevchenko è del Milan, non c’è nessuna trattativa.
Il calciatore non è in vendita. Un eventuale ragionamento
con lui e con una squadra potrebbe esserci solo
nel momento in cui chiederà di essere trasferito.
E lui non lo ha fatto".
Galliani approfondisce. "Ho parlato con il giocatore
domenica sera dopo la partita. Mi auguro che ci ripensi,
l’eventuale sostituto o una trattativa con il Chelsea
o altre società potrà nascere, potrebbe nascere,
ma lui deve chiedere di essere trasferito".
"Non dimentichiamo che Shevchenko - ha poi ricordato
il dirigente rossonero - ha tre anni di contratto col Milan.
Negli spogliatoi gli abbiamo chiesto di pensarci bene
e di rimanere al Milan, ho proposto al giocatore
di allungare il contratto a 5 anni". E Gallas?
"Il francese è un giocatore importante, ma risulta
che ha ancora un anno di contratto al Chelsea",
taglia corto Galliani.
