Eh già...un messaggio personale di Annie, direttamente dal Sacred Love Tour, ke riporto qui sotto giusto per gradì e per coloro ke nn c'han palle de andà sul sito ufficiale!

"I'm writing this on the way to our fourth gig on the Sacred Love Tour (Jones Beach NY).

It's early days, and there a lot of dates ahead, but if I say so myself, it's gotten off to a fantastic start. Right now I feel very satisfied with the way things are going, I'm thrilled to be joining Sting, and I consider this experience to be a total privilege.

No one knows anything about touring unless they have some kind of extended experience on it.

Over the years I've definitely earned my stripes.

It's a very "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" affair, filled with many diffirent rituals, from laying out one's makeup, to getting just ther right amount of rest and exercise, so you can be on top of the game. There's a lot of waiting and hanging around, but if you're creative and skilful you can put the downtime to good use.

Somebody asked me the other day what I like best about touring, and I have to say that it's the moment when you come off stage knowing that you've deliverd your very best performance and everyone's happy...

After each gig we usually drive on through the night to the next city, which means arriving in the early hours of the morning. We try to catch some sleep after the engines have been switched off, checking into the hotel just in time for last orders for breakfast. Our soundcheck usually takes place at around 4.00pm, so the day is mainly filled in with rest, exercise, or catching up with various things. After soundcheck everybody has a bite to eat, then it's just another wait and preparation for the gig...there are so many things that need to be done in such precise detail, and so many people behind the scenes who have a crucial part to play in the huge jigsaw puzzle...from the promoters, the sound crew and lighting technicians, the production team, wardrobe, catering, transport etc...the list is endless actually. It's no small thing.

I'm going to try to write a little bit when I can for the website on a more regular basis.

ps.Last night I got the chance to see Michael Moore's new film Fahrenheit 9/11. It was utterly compelling, and incredibly thought provoking. I'd highly recommend seeing it."
