Questa canzone, in un acuta combinazione di testo e musica, esprime il disagio terribile di un mondo senza Dio, che cerca di porre termine all'abisso che ne invade l'anima ponendo fine alla propria vita terrena.
Figliolo, in questa tua citazione vedo il desiderio di ritrovare la via del Signore.
