My uni friend has made my wedding dress. She offered to make it and I was very touched. She did not want payment.

At a later date she said that she would like my boyfriend to design her a logo and website for her new business in exchange for the dress. We were surprised but agreed.

Making the dress involved lots of long-distance journeys to her house in West Sussex and stress on all sides. She has finished the dress using silk we bought in India (it is still at her house) and my boyfriend has designed the logo.

She phoned me yesterday to say that actually she didn’t want the logo or website anymore, and that she would prefer to be paid!!! She wants £3-400!!! Money that we don’t have...

Needless to say, I am very shocked and upset and that is the end of our friendship.
