Ho già capito che a luglio dovrò sperperare tutti i miei risparmi... ma poi ad agosto dove vado in vacanza? Ai Navigli? Dopo Arcade Fire e Arctic Monkeys ecco che arriva il terzo concerto imperdibile... sempre a luglio e sempre nella stessa favolosa location... pianteremo la tendina a Ferrara mi sa... SONIC YOUTH dal vivo in Italia, eseguiranno "Daydream Nation", il loro disco fondamentale! Le date 05/07 - Torino @ Spaziale Festival 06/07 - Ferrara @ Piazza Castello 07/07 - Roma @ Teatro Romano Di Ostia Antica E’ appena stato aggiunto alla epica lista del National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, una sorta di collezione istituita per preservare musiche e suoni che, secondo l’autorevole congresso sono parte del tesoro culturale collettivo e devono rimanere nella storia della musica e della cultura. Ora, in collaborazione con All Tomorrow’s Parties (un festival che ogni anno viene affidato ad artisti di caratura internazionale che ha ultimamente indetto "don’t Look Back", operazione per cui gruppi di culto portano in tour album importanti della loro carriera), Sonic Youth (da sempre molto vicini a All Tomorrow’s Parties) pensano un tour in cui suoneranno Daydream Nation, da molto considerato come una pietra miliare del rock anni 90 e uno dei lavori più riusciti della "gioventù sonica".
