Monday, April 14, 2008 - ore 01:25 HO FINITO L’ MCC  Completion of the MCC Course is a mandatory JAR requirement before a multi crew type can be endorsed on a professional licence. Upon completion of this course, you will be proficient in multi-crew co-operation in order to operate safely multi-pilot aeroplanes under IFR conditions. The course starts with an introduction to the multi crew concept and addresses the differences that will be encountered by the majority of students with only single pilot experience. The first part of the classroom training is given to all aspects of Crew Resource Management (CRM), which will include: Communication Teamwork on the flight-deck Situational awareness Personality profiles Stress management Following this element time is spent studying check-list and standard operating procedures before finishing the theory course with an evaluation of key incidents. All simulator sessions will be flown by two students each flying two hours as handling pilot and two hours as non-handling pilot. Full pre-flight briefings will be given for typical airways routes which will include standard departure, arrival, hold and approach procedures. In addition, you will receive instruction about automatic flight management, approaches made to minima in poor weather and emergency situations including crew incapacitation.
