GONE TOO FAR

Oh love, we’re gone too far
playing with knives and red wine
we’re two made from one
And we always touch the same scars
always from the obverse
And when I’m howling out in pain
sometimes my desperation echoes your
How many times we shared laughs
So many times we shallow each other tears
Stab me in the back
I know I did the same to you
or simply this is what you felt
I’ve crushed my self down
trying to erase my skin
trying to grow from my ruins
there’s no reborn for an undead
No rebuild on a broken frame

We’re gone too far
in this game we’ve lost control
sometimes I stand by my self
and wonder
If this really was the way it should be

We can’t restage this opera
On this red stage
and its black courtain felt down
We felt like animals in a cage
trying to tear into pieces each other
just to find in lust a suitable company
We felt like children in a broken playground
struggling to protect the other one
failing when we were the threat
As I lay my self down in a darkened shore
I find it’s to late to mend all the broken
and I rest my self to sleep
I won’t erase anything ’cause it’s all
All it’s inside of me
I’ve never withdrew my words
As I’ve never locked up my door
Can you rebuild on a broken frame?
