Sarò diventato snob anche con la mia musica?
Tre sono stati gli acquisti a Brighton.
Uno è dei Byrds.... e insomma, 3 sterline messe in cassaforte, da quando un album del ’68 dei Byrds fa schifo?
Forse il nome "heart of the rodeo" doveva svegliarmi un po’. Disco di musica country!!! La rickenbacker a 12 corde, il jingle-jangle che li ha resi famosi.... non c’è proprio!! Pare veramente di stare a un rodeo! Genere che non sopporto, disco messo da parte!
Poi i Rezillos. A suo tempo qualche pezzo mi era piaciuto parecchio, e allora compriamo una raccoltina, chè sconosciuti come sono è già tanto.
E invece niente, gruppetto punk-rock/powerpop che poco ha da offrire a parte i singoli più famosi, con ogni pezzo che si somiglia.
Fortuna che almeno gli Alice Cooper dei primi tempi non deludono
Bellobellobello, simile ai primi lavori dei Blue Oyster Cult, ma con vene prog goduriose! Era da un po’ che un pezzo da 8 minuti e mezzo non mi esaltava così!
