Redemption song

Questo post è dedicato a quella che secondo me è la più bella creatura che Bob Marley abbia regalato al mondo. Una canzone semplice e speciale, che entra dalle orecchie e colpisce dritta al cuore. Uno dei pezzi che vanta il maggior numero di cover da parte di personaggi noti, oltre ai milioni di volte che si stima venga suonata ogni giorno in giardini, spiagge, luoghi di aggregazione. Molti pensano a Bob per le trombe, molti per "No Woman No Cry", bellissima ma a mio modesto parere nauseante alla lunga. Le versioni più belle che abbia sentito sono quelle degli Arrested Development, degli italiani Africa Unite e dei No Use For A Name che l'hanno letteralmente stravolta.
Bello chiudere gli occhi e viverla, riflettere sul testo una volta ogni tanto e sentirsi più sereni. Grazie Bob per ogni volta che le note basse di questo pezzo escono da una chitarra
