La cucina francese è una strana creatura. Può andare dal piatto più raffinato ma inconsistente a pietanze che è decisamente meglio fare quando non c’è vita sociale prevista per le 10 ore seguenti, ma che comunque sono un favoloso guilty pleasure.
Lo chef ha quindi proposto la
Soupe à l’oignon gratinèe avec croûtons de pain grillé au fromage!
una goduria pazzesca, specialmente quando fa freddo. Oltre ad essere bollente di suo (dopo mezzora di cottura, la zuppa va in forno a 250°C per far gratinare il formaggio irrorato di burro fuso, il risultato è incandescente), è la quintessenza del piatto rustico. E sorprende constatare che i suoi effetti cipollosi sono molto limitati... almeno dopo un paio d’ore!
