Spagnoli: (rumore di fondo) ... vi parla l'A-853, per favore, virate 15 gradi sud per evitare di entrare in collisione con noi. Vi state dirigendo esattamente contro di noi, distanza 25 miglia nautiche. Americani: (rumore di fondo) ... vi suggeriamo di virare 15 gradi nord per evitare la collisione Spagnoli: Negativo. Ripetiamo, virate 15 gradi sud per evitare la collisione Americani: (un'altra voce) Vi parla il Capitano di una nave degli Stati Uniti d'America. Vi intimiamo di virare 15 gradi nord per evitare la collisione. Spagnoli: Non lo consideriamo fattibile, ne conveniente, vi suggeriamo di virare di 15 gradi per evitare di scontrarvi con noi. Non abbiamo la più pallida idea di che posto abbiamo nella classifica dei fari spagnoli. Potete prendere le misure che considerate opportune e fare quel cazzo che vi pare per garantire la sicurezza della vostra nave di merda che si fracellerà sulla roccia. Pertanto insistiamo di nuovo e vi suggeriamo di fare la cosa più sensata e di cambiare la vostra rotta di 15 gradi sud per evitare la collisione.
