Nel 1998 venne lanciata la
New Beetle, lo slogan era anche accattivante
(se negli anni '70 ti sei venduto l'anima, ora puoi ricomprartela), linea simpatica e gran can can.
Ne vendettero un tot, piacevano.
Ora non se ne vedono molte, anzi, spesso è proprio difficile incrociarne.
Mi chiedo: non è che uno si compra un'auto e dopo 5 anni la demolisce, capisco che non aveva molta manutenzione, ma non mi pareva una usa-e-getta.
Allora? Dove sono finite tutte?
Dopo approfondite analisi e ricerche, interpellando tutte le fonti attendibili (anche il Dido), sono giunto all'unica conclusione plausibile.
La New Beetle, in realtà, non è mai stata prodotta nel 1998, sono sempre i Maggiolini degli anni '70: hanno costituito una loro civiltà in una dimensione parallela e hanno attivato una porta temporale per venire a vedere come si sviluppavano le cose alla fine del millennio.
A loro non è piaciuto e così stanno tornando nei para anni '70.
Non c'è altra spiegazione.
