Guerra sante è stata dichiarata contro la millefoglie.
Analizziamola:
1 Lo zucchero a velo.
Lo zucchero a velo è una componente dall'utilità limitata, che serve solo a far divertire il cuoco con quella specie di setaccio che si usa per metterlo. Per mangiarlo, serve assolutamente trattenere il respiro, qualunque cosa accada.
- se si espira, lo zucchero finisce nell'aria e nell'etere
- se si inspira, si subisce un attacco di pertosse fulminante, pari a 20 kilotoni di pepe.
2 le sfoglie
Le sfoglie costituiscono lo scheletro della millefoglie. Sono poco consistenti, insipide, e in compenso sono attaccaticce.
A seconda della situazione, sono friabili (quando la si prende in mano, col risultato di avere tanti piccoli pezzetti di sfoglia che se provi a staccarli con una mano rimangono attaccati all'altra mano), o largamente corazzate (quando bisogna tagliarla e/o morderla, in modo che non si spezzino e portino con sè tutta la crema, devastando il dolce)
3 la crema pasticcera
Unico ingrediente non infedele della millefoglie, che però finisce inevitabilmente col soffrire dei capricci della sfoglia, che se schiacciata eccessivamente farà fuoriuscire tutta la crema nel piatto (se siete fortunati ad averne uno). A quel punto si mangia solo la crema e ci si chiede perchè non si può mettere le candeline su un secchio di crema pasticcera
