I know that you are sad
because of the way I act,
you wish you were here
but I shed my tear.
It is hard being alone
so far away from home,
university is necessary,
however, only temporary.
I need to see people,
I need to have friends
but soon there will come a time where it all ends.

My hand will be free
and you may choose me.
I am not sure why but sometimes I cry
because I miss you so much and yearn for your touch.
I never wander far,
I look at the stars
and hope that someday
you will come to me and stay.
We will be happy
and you will never go away.
