Giorno 3 da dedicare all'Umbria. La ricerca dell'agriturismo parte subito, ma all'ora di pranzo ancora niente. Pranzo comunque qualitativamente notevole: antipasto di salumi e affettati misti, voto 8,5, e primo di tortelli di pecorino di fossa e pomodoro s.marzano, voto 9.
A metà giornata, dopo stradine impervie che mettono alla prova il peugeottone abituato a scenari più mondani, troviamo il posto giusto. Tale posto si rivela essere il paradiso. Pomeriggio passato per me in tranquillità a guardare gli altri giocare a scacchi e occasionalmente a servire un matto in 8 mosse. L'atmosfera è amichevole, si preannuncia una grande mangiata e siamo stipati in una camera in 5. L'attrattiva del posto comunque sono i cani: 3 pupetti di un mese e mezzo, che insieme formavano una delle cose più belle che abbia visto negli ultimi tempi.
Mi stupisco di come un posto così sperduto e selvaggio possa ancora esistere in Italia. E mi stupisco del fatto che la gente vada all'estero a cercare un surrogato di questo paradiso.
La sera si mangia in attesa della partita dell'Inter. Primo: risotto a zucchine e fiori di zucca, voto 7... anzi 7,5 perchè poter fare il bis è bello. Secondo, fegato di cinghiale (voto 9), vitello al forno (voto 10!) e grigliata di cinghiale (7). Contorno di pomodori al forno (8). Menzione speciale per il pane e le focacce fatte in casa (9). Dessert, torta allo yogurt (9,5) di cui polverizziamo le scorte. Vino buono e illimitato. Prezzo della cena 18 euro, eh beh...
