Dopo vent’anni di carriera e 85 milioni di dischi venduti, la popstar, 41 anni, ha deciso di festeggiare così i dieci anni di legame con Kenny Goss, ex membro della band dei Take That. La cerimonia, ha annunciato Michael, sarà celebrata all’inizio del 2006. Un po’ dopo, dunque, quella che unirà in matrimonio un’altra star della musica, Elton John, e il suo compagno "storico", David Furnish. Che hanno scelto il 21 dicembre, e non a caso: sarà proprio dall’inizio di dicembre che in Gran Betagna saranno consentite le nozze fra gay. George Michael e Kenny Goss stanno insieme dal 1996, anche se l’omosessualità della postar fu rivelata dai media solo nel 1998, quando il cantante fu scoperto "in atteggiamento inequivocabile" in un bagno pubblico di Los Angeles, da un poliziotto in borghese.
