Chi può dire che viviamo in una città di merda? Padova è bellissima. Camminate di notte e vedrete quanto è bella. Guardatevi il Prato, quando è l'alba e ci sono ancora le luci accese, ed oltre alla merda lasciata dagli incivili per terra forse vedrete chi ci fa jogging intorno, chi ci ha trovato un "riparo" per la notte, chi è ancora lì con la chitarra. Passate per il Santo, fatevi tutto l'interminabile ciottolato, arrivate in piazza, quella piazza dove vi bevete l'aperitivo, quella piazza sempre rumorosa e strapiena di gente, guardatevela vuota, magari sedetevici in mezzo. Godetevela, ci siete solo voi. Passate nei luoghi che vi sono cari, ricordatevi quando non c'era una profumeria ma c'era Testi e i vostri genitori vi portavano a sognare l'ultimo giocattolo, pensate a Frigoberetta, guardatevi il monumento della madonnina dei tassisti in piazza Garibaldi mentre taglia la luce del sole. Poi siete liberi di chiamare i Carabinieri per informazioni sull'interruzione di pubblico servizio e scrivere una lettera a mattino e gazzettino, perchè non è possibile che dalle 4 di notte alle 6 non ci sia un fottutissimo taxi che vi prenda su dal bassanello all'arcella e vi è toccato farvela a piedi!
