Tuesday, July 25, 2006 - ore 21:33 Bimbi che piangono, sotto accusa la fotografa Una serie di splendidi primi piani. Foto di bambini su sfondo grigio-blu. Bambini che piangono. Strillano. Si disperano. La collezione si chiama «End Times» e secondo l’autrice, la canadese Jill Greenberg, gli scatti esprimono «l’impotenza e la rabbia che si provano di fronte all’attuale situazione politica e sociale». Il dolore del mondo visto attraverso gli occhi dei bambini. E un atto d’accusa, nemmeno troppo velato, nei confronti dell’attuale amministrazione americana. LA TECNICA - Ovviamente le opinioni sono diverse, ma il dibattito si è infuocato a tal punto da finire su alcuni dei più importanti media (New York Times, the Sydney Morning Herald, Los Angeles Times, Slate). E il marito dell’artista, Robert Greenberg, si è sentito in dovere di intervenire spiegando quale tecnica è stata utilizzata per far piangere i piccoli: «Jill non ha "abusato" di nessun bambino. A ciascuno di loro è stato dato un lecca-lecca, e poi gli è stato tolto. Jill non ha parlato con loro. I genitori sono stati presenti per tutto il tempo. Si tratta della stessa tecnica utilizzata nella pubblicità, nei film e in tv. Sono un produttore, e per questo so di cosa sto parlando».
