20 dicembreil Consiglio superiore della sanità ha stabilito che le cure a cui è sottoposto Piergiorgio Welby non rappresentano un accanimento terapeutico. I cinquanta esperti che compongono l’organo consultivo del ministro della Salute hanno quindi confermato il parere anticipato martedì sera dal suo comitato di presidenza. «Quella di Welby è una situazione clinica devastat ma relativamente stabile», ha spiegato il presidente del Css, Franco Cuccurullo, secondo il quale per il paziente «non c’è un immediato pericolo di vita».21 dicembreL’annuncio è arrivato in diretta su Radio Radicale.
