-14 alla Svezia e per ora tutto va bene. Se Napoleone avesse avuto me come pianificatore del suo viaggio in Russia, figurati se si faceva fregare da niubbo in quel modo! E meglio non pensare se la Bismark avesse avuto me come ufficiale di rotta.
Poi penso all’aeroporto di Luton, e mi viene in mente che King’s Cross è lontana un bel po’ dalla maledetta Charing Cross, e che i treni inglesi purtroppo non ritardano mai. Più o meno come se io, ufficiale di rotta della Bismark, avessi capito che lo stretto di Danimarca sta appunto in Danimarca (e dove se no...) per scoprire più tardi che in realtà è a nord-ovest dell’Islanda. E allora motori avanti tutta ma non sarebbe stato sufficiente, la Prince of Wales e l’Hood sarebbero già passate da tempo, e l’Ark Royal intanto è sempre lì che lancia biplani con equipaggi miopi e fratricidi. E allora perchè il nanerottolo del Prinz Eugen non mi avverte prima? Forse perchè sa solo andare dove vado io. E la sorellona Tirpitz è comoda a casa che se la ride, mentre ci tuffiamo tra il Renown e il Repulse in attesa del solito Dorsetshire.
Meglio accompagnare Napoleone insomma.
Il tutto riassunto in: c’è gente che mi ha davvero preso per un’agenzia di viaggi. E nel frattempo sto perdendo 600x1,015^15/365 euro di interessi bancari non maturati. Odio questa beffa di fare i calcoli finanziari con tanta naturalezza.
