Primo assaggino di cos’è stato (e di come potrebbe essere stato passare quella semifinale).

Il team inglese, colpito dalla nostra determinazione e dalle nostre scenette comiche, e noi, che degli avversari abbiamo apprezzato l’infinita sportività tipicamente britannica. Altri premiati non in divisa.
Due giocatrici del team femminile di Counterstrike, direttamente dalla Russia. Ufficialmente la prima bionda al mondo per cui io ucciderei. Per quel paio di occhi di ghiaccio scatenerei una guerra mondiale! (per la cronaca, la foto non rende. L’ultimo giorno le abbiamo riconosciute a un bar di Stoccolma e la mora mi ha chiesto "Ah gli italiani! Avete erba?")
In tenuta da battaglia. Difficile credere che degli occhi del genere vengano usati per mirare con un fucile virtuale.
E qui in versione più borghese, dismessa la tenuta da battaglia. Per la cronaca, questo angelo ha più APM (actions per minute, una misura della velocità di esecuzione in partita) di me.
Ancora: pubblico delle grandi occasioni osserva una partita di Warcraft 3
Ma non solo belle donne e competizioni serrate tra team affiatati: a un evento del genere non possono mancare i NERD!
Come notizia secondaria, David Prowse, meglio noto negli ambienti cinematografici come Darth Vader, ha avuto l’onore di seguire una nostra partita. Non è invecchiato: è rimasto uguale a com’era alla fine dell’ultimo film della trilogia!
