Thursday, November 15, 2007 - ore 22:04 Genocide is on in Mogadishu- Somalia, but the world community is silent !!! Riporto una e-mail ricevuta da mia zia in merito al conflitto somalo (dimenticato da tutti i media internazionali). Leggete e diffondete... Mogadishu is paying back the price of 18 Americans dragged in Mogadishu in October 1993 very dearly. The Americans also regard the capital city of Somalia as another front of the "War on Terror". The revenge to the 18 Americans of 1993 does not amount to another 18 Somalis killed by the Ethiopians in Mogadishu. The revenge amounts to a silent genocide of the population of 1.8 million living in Mogadishu. America silenced EU, the Arab League and the African Union and gave green light to the Ethiopians to terrorise, kill, maim, subjugate and humiliate the Somali people of Mogadishu. Using the slogan of " the war on terror" ordinary Somali person in Mogadishu suffered terriblely. The Ethiopian army continue to shell residential areas indescriminately and without fear of world opinion. The Ethiopian army will carry these mercyless activities untill ordinary person on the street will either flee or accept Ethiopian hegemony over Somalia to a level where there is no voice of the resistence. That is the intended objective of the operation that couples Ethiopia and the United States together. While Ethiopia has its own agenda, the Ethiopians themselves must implement the aims of the US in the first place. The aims of America in Somalia is to re-invent the country and its people along the values of the Western World, so that Somalia’s resources will be easily accessible and exploitable. The conflict of Somalia is about oil, and it is a dwindling resource worldwide. Oil price is steeply increasing, and demand is growing more that its supply. America has to tame Somalia and harvest its resources. The impact of the catastrophy is immense: More than one million of the inhabitants of Mogadishu are displaced. More than 10 thousands died in Mogadishu since December 2006, and another 30 thoudands are injured. What is happening in Mogadishu satisfies all the types of crimes that define genocide and what it entails. The Ethiopian crime in Mogadishu involves (according to the defintion of the word "genocide", "as any of the acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, the Somali Ethnic groups of Mogadishu, as such: a. Killing members of the group; b. Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; c. Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; d. Imposing measures intended to cause mass exodus in order to lessen their influence in Mogadishu The Transitional Federal Government (TFG) is not an independent entity, but it is a rubber stamp for Ethiopia to get legitimacy in Somalia. It is time that the World Community should voice their concern and give protection to the people of Mogadishu. The Ethiopians need to be stopped. AND THEY SHOULD BE STOPPED NOW.
