NEW CONFIRMATIONS We are pleased to confirm the inclusion of two important international names in the line-up of FIB Heineken 2007 ; as well as two internationally renowned Spanish artists: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club + Patrick Wolf + Remate & Loco Band + Jonston This is the second time that Black Rebel Motorcycle Club from California visit usthe first time being in the 2002 edition to present their brilliant "Baby 81" (Sony, 2007), which is perhaps the darkest and most tense work in their career to date. In 2007 B.R.M.C. prove that they are a group in their prime; brave, concise and with clearer ideas than ever. Patrick Wolf from the UK also visits us for the second time since his last appearance during the tenth anniversary celebrations in 2004. Since then, the talent of this unique soloist has found the perfect medium in which convey, with effervescence and depth, a repertory full of splendid moments, the best example of which is his latest work "The Magic Position" (Polydor, 2007).

La musica, l’estate e tutto il resto...
Comunicazioni di servizio.. vista l’imperante pigrizia vi copio e incollo la nostra newsletter
SoundPark vi rinnova l’appuntamento per SABATO 26 MAGGIO con l’apertura del BANALE ESTIVO! Dopo la chiusura forzata della scorsa stagione ritorna finalmente uno dei luoghi storici della vita notturna dell’estate patavina. La location è sempre la stessa in località Ponte di Brenta (PD) in via dell’Ippodromo, a pochi passi dall’uscita di Padova Est.
Come al solito tutti i sabato sera per il quarto anno di fila in consolle i due SoundPark (sarebbe anche il momento di cambiarli!). Se poi non vi piace la musica il giardino è grande e ve ne starete comodi lo stesso, in caso di pioggia fitta invece tutti a casa, si resta chiusi! Per chi non se lo ricordasse l’entrata è gratuita con la tessera Arci in mano.
Altro appuntamento MERCOLEDI 23 MAGGIO al Ricky’s Pub di Abbazia Pisani - Villa del Conte (PD), luogo famoso per la sua variegata offerta musicale. Dj set a quattro mani con Albi SoundPark e la signorina Ramones77, indie rock e dintorni il primo, power pop e punk77 la seconda... e poi non chiamatelo sesso debole! Prima aspettiamo il termine della finale di Champions League (che potrete guardare nelle TRE tv del RICKY’S Pub) e poi comunque vada si comincia a sparare un po’ di musica.
Nel frattempo stiamo mettendo le mani sul sito ufficiale di SoundPark da troppo tempo ormai fermo. Scusateci, ma l’inverno è stato piuttosto impegnativo su molti altri fronti...

Domani mattina verso le 11 in diretta telefonica con RadioBase i due caporedattori di TEA MUSIC & ROCKON ovvero io ed il fidato compagno di merenda Cangia Saremo ospiti di Willy nella sua trasmissione "I Maniaci" (adesso si spiega la nostra presenza! ) Parleremo di musica e amenità varie, improvvisando discretamente Per chi avesse tempo da perdere e non sapesse cosa fare, QUI le coordinate per ascoltare la trasmissione.

Un post calcistico, quindi abbastanza inutile. Ma anche un po’ nostalgico e soprattutto un po’ eighties. Sicuramente poetico. Incredibile come mi sia ritornato in mente quel giorno, incredibile il ricordo di quel pomeriggio di pioggia, la vecchia radio di mio padre e "Tutto il calcio minuto per minuto".
Vent’anni e sembra ieri. Tanto è passato dall’ultima volta che i tifosi bianconeri hanno avuto la fortuna di ammirare le prodezze di Michel Platini. Il 17 maggio 1987, Le Roi scendeva sul campo per l’ultima volta. In un pomeriggio di pioggia battente, la Juventus batteva nell’allora stadio Comunale il Brescia per 3-2 e Michel giocava la sua 224ª gara ufficiale, ponendo fine ad una parentesi che nessuno dimenticherà mai. Cinque stagioni infarcite di successi e grandi giocate. Il suo palmares conta due Scudetti, una Coppa Italia, una Coppa dei Campioni, una Coppa Intercontinentale, una Supercoppa Europea, una Coppa delle Coppe e, a livello personale, tre classifiche dei cannonieri e tre Palloni d’Oro. Senza dimenticare il titolo di Campione d’Europa con la sua Francia conquistato nel 1984. Un simbolo del calcio europeo che, da pochi mesi, ne è diventato il numero uno. Il 26 gennaio scorso è infatti stato eletto presidente della Uefa.

Lo so, ho già abusato di questo titolo... ma un po’ di romanticismo dovrà pur esserci se si ritorna nello stesso posto per la quinta volta... soprattutto se dista più di 1500 chilometri da casa. Io non guarirò mai!

Con tutto questo caldo è già facile perdersi, nell’illusione che sia già arrivata l’estate. I deliri psico/musicali di qualche tempo addietro tendono a spezzettarsi, moltiplicarsi e prolungarsi senza una fine precisa. Dimenticavo che tra i concerti da vedere ci sono in serie anche Bloc Party, Violent Femmes e White Stripes. Ci vorrebbero agendine comode e sempre a portata di mano per segnare con precisione tutte le cose da fare... ma anche le wishlist hanno la stessa funzione random di iTunes, almeno nel mio caso... quindi prendiamo ciò che viene. Intanto per rinfoltire la famiglia di dischini ne ho adottati un po’, grazie alla ditta Mist&Magicpie, alla quale vanno i miei più sentiti ringraziamenti; visto che la "cucciolata" da allevare nella loro casa era troppo grande hanno ben pensato di affidare un po’ delle loro "creature" (magari la metafora non viene colta, ma stiamo parlando sempre di cd, volevo solo farlo nel mio tono solitamente aulico) a chi le avrebbe meglio accudite. Adesso però dovrei rimettermi al lavoro, buttare via il case da 300 cd già semi distrutto e intinto in maniera svariata di diverse sostanze alcoliche, comprare un altro raccoglitore e rimettere finalmente le cose al loro posto, anche perchè certi cd non li trovo più anche se so che son li dentro da qualche parte. Intanto lunedi sera primo concerto infuocato della lunga lunghissima stagione... forse meglio non poteva capitare... ingresso gratuito, un inutile pass per la stampa al collo, Jack&Cola abbondante Jack (sembra di stare al Banale), disquisizioni cestistiche, amici di vecchia data, un po’ di Milano bene tutt’attorno ma soprattutto i Maximo Park sul palco. Poco altro da aggiungere. Qui sotto un video esplicativo e di repertorio, l’altra sera alla prima canzone del concerto l’atmosfera era più o meno così anche se non c’era tutta sta gente.

E’ appena stato aggiunto alla epica lista del National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, una sorta di collezione istituita per preservare musiche e suoni che, secondo l’autorevole congresso sono parte del tesoro culturale collettivo e devono rimanere nella storia della musica e della cultura. Ora, in collaborazione con All Tomorrow’s Parties (un festival che ogni anno viene affidato ad artisti di caratura internazionale che ha ultimamente indetto "don’t Look Back", operazione per cui gruppi di culto portano in tour album importanti della loro carriera), Sonic Youth (da sempre molto vicini a All Tomorrow’s Parties) pensano un tour in cui suoneranno Daydream Nation, da molto considerato come una pietra miliare del rock anni 90 e uno dei lavori più riusciti della "gioventù sonica".

Friday night
Gira già la voce da un po’ ma adesso siamo agli inviti ufficiali. Serata di gala VENERDI 23 MARZO, il luogo prescelto è il nostro caro VINILE a Rosà (VI). Abbiamo un sacco di buoni motivi per non mancare all’ennesima SOUNDPARK NIGHT
I PORNOPILOTS sono in gran forma e sono pronti per un live show tiratissimo
La pista da ballo sarà sempre movimentata, prima del concerto apre MISS ELLE e a seguire in ordine sparso o forse tutti assieme i due SOUNDPARK, CHECCO MERDEZ e MOMO che comincia a festeggiare con noi il suo compleanno...
In privé ci sarà un festone di laurea (non si sa di chi), ma anche li ci sarà una botta di gente
